Countrywide takes to the beach
A beach hut in North Wales is being offered by Countrywide Auction with a guide price of £85,000-plus.
The 13ft x 9ft hut comes with a strip of land and sits on Abersoch beach.
The sale takes place on 20 April at Le Meridien Piccadilly Hotel, W1.
100% success for Stags Exeter
Stags Exeter raised £2m at its 6 April sale at the Devon Hotel in Exeter, selling all eight lots offered, seven of which were land and the other a four-bedroom house, all from a single farm in Ottery St Mary, Devon.
April result down in Northants
Auction House Northamptonshire’s latest sale raised £853,000 from seven lots – an 86% success rate.
The amount raised by the 13 April auction at Hilton Northampton was down on February’s total of £1.3m and last April’s £929,000.
Harman’s spicy Brighton sale
The freehold of a curry house with ancillary space above, close to Brighton city centre, is being offered by Harman Healy with a guide price of £200,000-plus.
Delhi Spice will be among the lots at the auction on 27 April at Chelsea Old Town Hall, SW3.
Auction House sells five for five
Auction House South Yorkshire sold all five lots offered at its 6 April sale at Copthorne Hotel, Sheffield, raising £255,000.
This compared with £561,000 at its February sale and £267,000 last April.
