A 4,843 sq ft freehold building believed to be Britain’s oldest public bath house is being offered by Lambert Smith Hampton.
The four-storey Grade II listed stone building in Newcastle opened in 1907 and is being sold on behalf of Newcastle City Council.
It contains a swimming bath, a washing house, and an area for individual baths.
The baths closed in 1965 and have since been used by a badminton club.
The online auction will run for five days from 2 June, with an £8,000 starting price.
