Housebuilder be:here has gained planning permission for a 597-home build-to-rent project in Barking, east London.
The scheme will deliver one of the largest build-to-rent developments in the UK.
The project will also include 5,320 sq ft of commercial space over almost four acres on the Abbey Retail Park.
Approval by Barking and Dagenham Council now means the plans will be sent to the GLA for further approval.
