Regal Homes has received planning permission for the redevelopment of Nomis Studios in W14.

The redevelopment will transform the site at 42-53 Sinclair Road into 43 homes across two two- to five-storey buildings.

Facilities will include a private gym, gardens and a concierge.

The Nomis Studios were once owned by music manager Simon Napier-Bell. Bands including The Police, Duran Duran and Wham have recorded in the studios, which been empty since 2008.

To accommodate the plans from Hopkins Architects 53 Sinclair Road will be fully refurbished and converted, retaining an arch feature, while 45-51 will be demolished.

Paul Eden, Regal Homes’ chief executive, said:  “Our plans will see this unique site restored and returned to use to deliver homes for the area.”
