AshbyCapital has announced a raft of appointments to facilitate its expansion.
Tom Smithers will join the team as asset manager.
The advisory firm has also appointed Simon Osborne as legal counsel, Joe-Man Wan as investment analyst and Pippa Hunn as a team assistant.
The expansion reflects AshbyCapital’s increased activity, with total capital deployed having exceeded £750m.
Smithers joins from Green Property, where he was associate director of asset management. His prior experience includes roles with IVG and Grosvenor Estate.
Osborne will join AshbyCapital from Forsters LLP and Joe-Man Wan joins from Ernst & Young, where he was an executive on the real estate corporate finance team. His career has also included roles at UBS Investment Bank and Wellington Management Company.
Pippa Hunn has spent the majority of her career working in the hospitality industry.
Peter Ferrari, chief executive of AshbyCapital, said: “With our investments now exceeding £750m and further deals in the pipeline, Tom, Simon, Joe and Pippa bring skills, experience and contacts that bolster our existing team and will help us continue to maximise the value of our existing and future investments. We are very pleased to welcome them to the team.”
