Willingham to chair CREFCE
HSBC’s head of real estate finance Steve Willingham has been appointed chairman of Commercial Real Estate Finance Council Europe, replacing Madeleine McDougall of Lloyds Banking Group.
Omni fund raises $60m
Omni Partners has achieved a $60m (£41.7m) first close of its Omni Secured Lending Fund III vehicle. Omni is targeting a $400m final close for the fund.
Loan sales fall off 91%
Loan sales volumes dropped off by 91% to €3.7bn (£2.9bn) as vendors re-assessed their positions in Q1 2016, according to Cushman & Wakefield. The average portfolio size fell to €207m.
Record profit for Mount Anvil
Residential developer Mount Anvil generated a record pretax profit of £66m for the year ended 31 December. It generated profits of £41m for its joint venture partners and £25m for the Mount Anvil Group. Turnover rose to £252.1m, while the value of forward sales was £498m.
