A partnership between Highbridge Properties and the Homes and Communities Agency has sold a site to FANUC UK to house its UK headquarters at Ansty Park in Coventry.
The factory automation manufacturer has struck a deal with the duo for a 107,000 sq ft building at the park for an undisclosed sum.
FANUC UK will relocate from its operation at the Seven Stars estate in Coventry.
Highbridge Properties and the HCA will develop the new scheme on a seven-acre site, with practical completion due early next year. The building will comprise a 56,000 sq ft design, manufacturing and training facility, 43,000 sq ft of offices and an 8,000 sq ft showroom.
FANUC UK managing director Tom Bouchier said: “Our new headquarters will enable us to grow and develop our team of industry experts, and offer the highest quality services to our customers. As our business continues to evolve, we look forward to working alongside a variety of technological centres of excellence.”
Ansty Park is next to Junction 2 of the M6.
CBRE and Lambert Smith Hampton advised FANUC, while Cushman & Wakefield and Knight Frank are joint disposal agents at Ansty Park.
