Royal Dutch Shell will close three offices in the UK following its acquisition of BG, which was formally completed in February.
BG’s HQ in Reading will close by the end of the year, as will its Albyn Place office in Aberdeen and its Brabazon office in Manchester. In total, 1,600 employees will be affected.
Shell’s central London base will house all of the company’s operations in southeast England.
