Muse Developments has submitted a planning application for a £50m leisure development in Preston, Lancashire.
The scheme is anchored by an 11-screen cinema, and also includes seven restaurants, a 593-space multi-storey car park and public realm improvements.
It forms part of the wider regeneration of the Markets Quarter, which includes the refurbishment of two listed market canopies and the construction of a new market hall.
The Light will operate the proposed cinema, which will feature live opera, ballet, theatre and pop concerts, alongside films.
