Construction company McLaren Group posted a £14.2m profit for the 12 months to the end of July 2015.
The property division was its strongest performer over the year, the private company said.
As a standalone business, property generated £26m in profit from a turnover of £71.2m. This compared with a £6.9m profit in the 12 months to the end of July 2014.
Over the course of the year the company disposed of the Bondway site in Nine Elms, SW8, for £103m and sold a 253-bed student accommodation scheme in Southwark, SE1, for £61m among other projects.
The construction business made a £11.8m loss as a result of some loss-making contracts but sees the market turning for them in the coming year as margins on projects increase.
