Brent Council has given the green light to Quintain’s £140m Wembley Park masterplan in north-west London.

The plans call for a new seven-acre park, a multi-use games area and a lake as well as 4,850 new homes, and 1m sq ft of offices and start-up workspaces.

Quintain will also develop a new primary school, nursery and GP clinic as well as new car and coach park facilities for use by Wembley Stadium visitors on event days.

, Quintain has already invested more than £800m in the site since acquiring it in 2002, developing the London Designer Outlet, a 361‐bed four‐star Hilton hotel, and 760 homes with a further 600 under construction and 660 student accommodation rooms.
