Clydesdale takes Leadenhall space

Leadenhall-Building-Cheesgrater-2014-THUMB.jpegClydesdale Bank is to take the 15th floor of British Land’s Leadenhall Building.

The bank’s letting takes the total occupancy in the building otherwise known as the Cheesegrater to 98%.

Clydesdale, which listed last year, has taken 17,300 sq ft of space at an undisclosed rent over 15 years.

Just 7,000 sq ft of space remains unoccupied on one floor, according to British Land.

Tim Roberts, head of offices and residential at British Land said: “We have seen strong demand for space at the Leadenhall Building, and have been very pleased to secure long-term commitments from blue-chip occupiers, such as Clydesdale Bank. With just one floor available, we anticipate that the building will be fully let ahead of schedule later this year.”
