Property design and consultancy firm, Arcadis has secured office space in Croydon.
Arcadis is letting a 19,000 sq ft office in Bernard Weatherill House, which is also home to Croydon Council, on a 10-year lease.
Croydon has been identified in the London Plan as a regeneration opportunity area with a £5.21bn investment programme to create a new commercial hub for the capital.
Arcadis UK chief executive Alan Brookes said: “Having initially taken office space in Kings Cross in 2006, we’ve experienced first-hand the community and business benefits of being situated at the heart of an urban regeneration area. We are excited about the pending move and being a part of Croydon’s continued success.”
Mark Watson, Croydon Council’s cabinet member for economy and jobs, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Arcadis to Croydon. These are incredibly exciting times for Croydon; we’re embarking on a major regeneration programme that will offer world-class facilities, new homes and jobs, making the borough a desirable home for residents and businesses today and in the future.”
The Arcadis Croydon office will be operational by summer.
