Oxenwood Real Estate has expanded its logistics investment portfolio to £135m with a pair of acquisitions.
The company has bought the 468,000 sq ft Howden Joinery supply division warehouse in Runcorn, Cheshire, for £17.5m, a 7.9% yield, from an institutional investor.
Earlier in the year it paid £19m for a warehouse let to International Greetings at Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire.
The investments form part of Oxenwood’s plan to enlarge its logistics portfolio. It is considering a pipeline of £200m for the remainder of the year.
Oxenwood was set up in 2014 by founding partners Jeremy Bishop and Stewart Little after they left LondonMetric.
The company also owns the 650,000 sq ft DHL supply chain in Runcorn, Cheshire; a 198,272 sq ft Maplin hub facility in Rotherham, South Yorkshire; and a 141,624 sq ft Bibby distribution centre in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.
