Muse and Network Rail reveal £185m Manchester Victoria plan

New-Victoria-570pxMuse Developments and Network Rail have submitted plans to bring forward a £185m mixed-use development next to Victoria station in Manchester.

A masterplan has been drawn up for the 2.5-acre site on Corporation Street, including a 150,000 sq ft eight-storey office and two residential buildings.

The 20 and 25 storey towers will provide up to 520 one-, two- and three-bedroom flats, a gym, 24-hour concierge, communal lounge, cycle storage and a roof garden.

The scheme also includes public space, landscaping and car parking.

Muse is working closely with Network Rail and Manchester City Council to ensure that the scheme complements the adjoining new developments, including Network Rail’s £44m transformation of Victoria Station.

Muse has appointed architect Sheppard Robson and Arup to create detailed design proposals for the scheme. Deloitte advised on planning.
