LJ-Partnership-THUMBSpencer-Jones joins C&W

Cushman & Wakefield has appointed former GE Capital partner James Spencer-Jones as head of EMEA structured finance. At GE Capital he was head of the European debt origination business leading a team that loaned $6.5bn (£5bn).

LJ takes stake in Pradera

Pradera has concluded a deal for multi-family office LJ Partnership to take a significant minority share in the retail asset manager. James Elkington and Simon Berritt from LJ will join the Pradera board. Paul Wright has resigned as a non-exec. 

Non-listed funds soar

Non-listed funds delivered the highest average returns since 2006 in 2015. INREV said the UK performed best, posting 12% returns, but this was down from 16.7% in 2014. Dutch funds were next best at 9.6%, a rise of 6.2 percentage points on the year before.

Stocks set to raise MPT offer

James Stocks & Co has asked for further due diligence on the Industrial Multi Property Trust portfolio in order to raise its previously rejected offer of £81.6m to £82.1m.
