Soho House serves up chicken in Brixton

PIano-House-SW9-THUMBTCN has secured Soho House’s Chicken Shop restaurant brand for its £22m Piano House scheme on Brighton Terrace in Brixton, SW9.

The brand has taken a 20-year lease on the 3,089 sq ft basement of the building. Serving marinated rotisserie chicken, it will be the seventh of its kind in London.

Piano House is a Victorian warehouse conversion due to complete in August.

TCN has also secured three office tenants for the now fully let 40,000 sq ft development where rents are £47.50 per sq ft.

Adventure travel company Intrepid Group has taken 4,800 sq ft; architectural practice Martha Schwartz Partners has taken 2,700 sq ft and technology company Beauhurst has taken 3,500 sq ft, all signing 10-year leases.

Richard Price, chief executive of TCN, said: “We are determined that Piano House will continue to play a positive role in keeping with Brixton’s character. Once the refurbishment is
complete, the end result will be a vibrant, mixed-use innovative cluster, combining workspace and leisure facilities for the creative and media industries.”

Hanover Green is the letting agent at Piano House.
