Strakers sale hits 85%
Strakers posted total sales of £2.6m at its 23 June sale at the Assembly Rooms in Bath. Out of 19 lots offered, 16 sold, all to bidders in the room, equating to an 85% success rate.
Slice of history for sale
A Wolverhampton building that once housed a restaurant frequented by Sir Winston Churchill and the Queen Mother is being offered by SDL Bigwood for £375,000 to £400,000. Osborne King raised £1.4m from 28 lots at its 24 June sale at the Clayton Hotel, Belfast. Five lots sold prior and 17 in the room, equating to an 85% success rate.
