Allied London has signed Nadler Hotels to operate a 110-bedroom hotel from the tallest tower within its St John’s neighbourhood in Manchester.
The boutique brand, which currently has branches in London and Liverpool, will open a new hotel in 10 floors of the 55-storey St John’s Place in 2019.
Above the hotel will be several floors of amenities for residents including cafés, restaurants, a wellbeing facility and meeting areas.
Robert Nadler, chief executive of Nadler Hotels, said he was excited to work with a developer who shared the ethos of “creating communities” and “social sustainability”.
The first completions at the £1.3bn St John’s scheme will be South Village and the refurbishment of the Bonded Warehouse, expected by late 2017 to early 2018.
The new neighbourhood will include 3,000 homes, 600,000 sq ft of commercial space and a 180,000 sq ft cultural venue called The Factory.
