A village cricket ground is being offered by Clive Emson Essex at its 25 July sale at Chelmsford City Racecourse. Chignal Cricket Ground, near Chelmsford, Essex, covers 3.8 acres and includes the freehold, grounds and pavilion. It is let at £10 pa with 20 years on the lease and is guided at £30,000 to £40,000.
Allsop Ireland raises €17.4m
Allsop Ireland raised €17.4m (£14.6m) at its 30 June sale in Dublin. Out of 128 lots offered, seven sold prior and 87 sold in the room, a 74% success rate. The largest lot was a scheme of 19 houses and flats in South Kildare, eight of which were let for a combined €45,360 pa. The reserve range was €520,000 to €570,000 and it sold for €890,000.
Dozen Staffs sites for sale
Twelve plots of land are being offered with no reserve at Sutton Kersh’s 14 July sale at the Crowne Plaza, Liverpool. The adjoining plots, to the rear of houses in Hints, near Tamworth, Staffordshire, are being sold separately.

MS Auctions raised £2.6m at its 29 June sale at Radisson Blu Portman Hotel, W1. Of 28 lots offered, three sold prior and six sold in the room, giving a 54% success rate.
Fox & Sons hits 71%
Fox & Sons achieved a 71% success rate at its 29 June sale at the Macdonald Botley Park Hotel in Southampton, Hampshire. Of 27 lots offered, five sold prior and 13 in the room, raising £2.8m.
