Piccadilly lights up for auction charity prize

Piccadilly-Lights-W1THUMB.jpegOne of London’s most iconic landmarks, the Piccadilly Lights, will display a personal message from a member of the public in a once-in-a-lifetime prize offered by Land Securities.

One lucky winner will get the chance to beam an illuminated message across Piccadilly Circus, W1, from the world-famous landmark, alongside the Coca-Cola sign which has appeared there for more than 60 years.

The opportunity will be auctioned off at the 10th annual Property Race Day on 8 July, where 1,000 industry guests will descend on Ascot racecourse, Berkshire, to raise money for children’s charities.

The lot includes a £200 theatre voucher and an overnight stay for two people at the Ritz London hotel, W1.

A host of other gifts and experiences will be auctioned, both exclusively at The Property Race Day in a live auction, and to the wider property industry and general public, through a silent auction.

Lots in the silent auction include a chance to walk on the wing of an aeroplane in the sky, a holiday for four people on the private island of Osea, in the Blackwater Estuary, Essex, a place for two people in the 2017 Summer Trial classic car rally and A private cricket-themed dinner for ten people with former English cricketers Ed Giddins and Phil Tufnell.

Bidding opens on Thursday 7 July. Click here to find out more.
