Cushman & Wakefield has recruited Eleanor Deely to head the residential department in its Birmingham office.

Deely has quit her role as a director in the development team at rival agent CBRE to join the firm.

While at CBRE she worked closely with Adrian Willet, advising on land purchases and disposals, the growing residential investment markets and major mixed-use development schemes across the region. Clients included Cemex and William Davis as well as major housebuilders.

Meanwhile, in London, C&W has appointed Neil Batty as head of international sales. Batty spent the past 10 years at Savills and the previous eight at Knight Frank as head of international project marketing. Clients include the Berkeley Group, Argent and Ballymore.
