Six members of BNP Paribas Real Estate’s residential team, including executive director Adrian Owen, are leaving to join Montagu Evans.

The entire BNP PRE team consists of 69 people.

A BNP PRE spokesman said: “Our residential business continues to go from strength to strength and has shown considerable growth over the last two years, in direct response to our targeted investment.

“While of course we would prefer to keep our senior residential team together, when a business undergoes such growth one expects some fallout. Our growth plans for residential remain, as does our ability to deliver first-class residential advice to our clients, which is our priority.

“We have strength across the team and this gives us the ability to promote, and of course recruit, talented motivated people. We are excited about the future of this part of the business.”

Owen has been at BNP PRE for three years, having joined in 2013 from Montagu Evans.

At the time, BNP PRE chief executive John Slade said the appointment “strengthens our offer and will enable us to provide new expertise, particularly in agency and specifically in central London”.

Before that, Owen was a senior director at Hamptons International for 12 years.
