A planning decision on what would be the City of London’s tallest tower, known as the Trellis, has been delayed.
Singapore-based Aroland Holdings’ plans for a 73-storey building at 1 Undershaft, EC3, had been due for a decision over the summer, but the plans will now not be considered before September.
A City of London Corporation spokesman said: “There are still a number of detailed matters concerning the proposed scheme that are being discussed. We expect the application for 1 Undershaft to be determined in the coming months.”
The 1,016 ft tower, featuring a public viewing gallery and restaurant at the top, would replace the Aviva Tower, which was damaged by an IRA bomb in 1992.
Plans for the skyscraper were unveiled in December 2015.
