GVA senior director Tony Joyce is leaving the company to undertake consultancy work.
Joyce has worked in the City office market since 1979, specialising in the Square Mile, Docklands, Southwark and Midtown.
In 2015 he led Clifford Chance’s 388,889 sq ft sub-lease from Deutsche Bank at 10 Upper Bank Street, acting jointly with CBRE.
Joyce began his career working with building and management surveyors in Streatham, later working at an estate agency in Croydon.
After a stint at a housebuilder in Reigate, Surrey, he joined the City in 1979. He has been a senior director at GVA since 2004 and has published two childrens’ books.
He was also involved in overseeing the relocation of the company’s London teams to its new London HQ at Gresham Street in the City.
Joyce will leave GVA at the end of July. He will continue to provide asset management advice to the City of London Corporations’ Property Investment Board and the Diocese of Rochester’s Property Investment Board.
He will also continue to pursue his charitable works at The Worshipful Company of Chartered Surveyors, Street Pastors and Chairing the Board of Trustees at Tumbridge Wells Youth for Christ.
