Manchester’s latest major development backed by Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs is to feature two of the city’s tallest towers.
The 700,000 sq ft Make-designed scheme will include two buildings of 21 and 31 storeys.
The taller One St Michael’s, will comprise a 200-bedroom, five-star hotel and 153 flats. Two St Michael’s will have 135,000 sq ft of offices. There will also be 30,000 sq ft of shops and leisure space.
HSBC will provide finance for the project, which will have an end value in excess of £200m.
The project is 75% backed by Rowsley, the company of Singaporean Valencia CF owner Peter Lim. Beijing Construction Engineering Group owns a 21% stake.
Neville and Giggs’ interest is through Jackson’s Row Development Company, which they jointly own with Brendan Flood.
Zerum Consult and Colliers International are advising the partnership.
