CBRE veteran Stuart Robinson is stepping down as chairman and head of planning after 34 years in the role.
Robinson will continue to work on CBRE’s One London proposition, advising on its public sector engagement strategy.
He will also lead CBRE’s research into placemaking on a consultancy basis, developing the firm’s business plan in this area.
This will give him time to explore other opportunities outside the company in relation to planning and placemaking, particularly in the public sector.
During his time at CBRE, Robinson has been involved in some of London’s most high-profile developments, including Tate Modern, SE1, the Millennium Bridge, SE1, Spitalfields, E1, Embassy Gardens in Nine Elms, SW8, and King’s Cross, N1.
He sits on the planning committee of the Old Oak Common and Park Royal Development Corporation and was previously a board member of the Westminster Property Association.
Robinson joined CBRE from Hillier Parker in 1998. He was CBRE’s head of planning for 15 years before being made chairman in 2014.
