New home sales plunged by 43% in the first six months of the year, figures compiled by London Central Portfolio from Land Registry data show.
There were only 1,491 sales of units within the 11 inner-London boroughs.
It appears foreign investors may be turning away, London Central Portfolio’s chief executive, Naomi Heaton, said.
