Actor Robert de Niro has been given permission to open a luxury hotel in London’s Covent Garden.
The 83-bedroom Wellington Hotel will be located in six buildings, three of which have a Grade II listing, on Burleigh, Exeter, Tavistock and Wellington streets.
Westminster council deputy leader Robert Davis described the scheme as one of the finest it had considered for the area in years, with a design that is of the highest quality.
