The North Yorkshire village of West Heslerton is under offer after being placed on the market by the family of the late Eve Dawnay earlier this year for a price of £20m.
The perfectly preserved 2,000-acre village had a population of 375 when Dawnay died in 2010. The lot includes 43 houses and cottages, a petrol station, a sports pavilion and grounds, and the 21-bedroom West Heslerton Hall.
Income from rents and agricultural subsidies totals around £388,000 a year.
