Campaigners for land reform in Scotland are calling for the sale of the Tulchan estate to be halted while the rights of tenant farmers are addressed.
The sporting estate was put up for sale last week at a price of more than £25m.
Legislation in 2003 was designed to ensure tenants were given the right to buy farms that were put up for sale. In this case, however, it is the shares of Tulchan Sporting Estates that will be sold, meaning right to buy will not be triggered.
