Marathon increases European property investment

US hedge fund Marathon has added to property investments in France, Germany, Ireland and the Netherlands amid expectations those countries will be most likely to benefit from companies planning to move out of London.

They have the most stable outlook and are most likely to benefit from Brexit, the fund’s co-founder and chief executive, Bruce Richards, said.

The fund expects many jobs to be relocated abroad, although it thinks London will remain the centre for finance in Europe.
