Sainsbury’s plans to open mini Habitat stores in its supermarkets and add to the number of Argos stores following completion of its acquisition of Home Retail Group.
A further 30 Argos outlets are planned by the end of the year, as well as five Habitat stores.
The acquisition of HRG means Sainsbury’s is now the country’s largest non-food retailer.
