The Derwent Group has given EG the first look inside its £100m Liverpool shopping park development.
Once completed, the site will be the UK’s largest shopping park, spreading across 727,000 sq ft and surpassing the current largest, Castlepoint in Bournemouth at 645,000 sq ft.
The development comprises 41 retail units, parking for 1,500 cars and a significant leisure offer. Work so far includes demolition of the site’s old retail buildings, the start of steelwork for three lifestyle focused retail units and steelwork going in for a group of trade counter units.
