Economists at Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley has revised their UK growth forecasts for this year and next, removing predictions of a recession for the country.
Credit Suisse is now expecting growth of 1.9% this year and 0.5% in 2017, against previous forecasts for 1% growth this year and a 1% contraction next.
Morgan Stanley expects growth of 1.9% this year and 0.6% next, compared with prior forecasts of 1.2% and 0.5% respectively.
