Problems at Majestic’s commercial division and at its Naked Wines USA unit resulted in the company issuing a surprise profit warning yesterday.
It remains on track, however, to reach its target of £500m in sales by 2019, chief executive Rowan Gormley said.
Elsewhere, the turnaround plan for Majestic’s retail activities is going well and investment in sites is on track to come in on time and on budget, he said.
