Axa Investment Managers has acquired Eureka Funds Management, an Australian real estate fund manager.
Eureka manages properties worth US$3.7bn.
The acquisition will help Axa add to its property investments in Asia, and is a prelude to moves into more emerging and more opportunistic markets, among them China, Pierre Vaquier, the chief executive of Axa IM’s real assets division, said.
