Thor Equities has let 2,600 sq ft of retail space at 1 Dover Street, W1, to Caffé Concerto.
The restaurant on the corner of Piccadilly and Dover Street will open in mid-2017. It has agreed to pay a rent of £500 per sq ft – a record for the street.
Joseph Sitt, chief executive of Thor Equities, said: “This new letting reflects Thor Equities’ active investment strategy in European high street retail areas including Mayfair, one of London’s prime luxury growth markets.”
1 Dover Street is a six-storey building totalling 20,864 sq ft, including a retail ground floor and upper floor office space.
Thor’s London portfolio also includes 145 Oxford Street, 105-109 Oxford Street, and Bond Street House at 14 Clifford St, W1, as well as Burlington Arcade, all W1, which it owns in a joint venture with Meyer Bergman.
