Urban Splash has secured a revised agreement to deliver the final phases of the Park Hill regeneration in Sheffield.
The development agreement with Sheffield City Council will see the development split into four phases – 2 to 5 – over five years. Phase 2 will see Urban Splash create 210 homes and Phase 3 will comprise the development of 330 student housing units working with an external partner.
The whole scheme will deliver a total of 130,000 sq ft of commercial space. Phase 4 and 5 includes provision for the S1 Artspace Project, as well as open market and affordable housing.
The first phase of the redevelopment of the Grade II listed building was completed in March. The development saw the construction of 260 flats. Designed by architects Hawkins\Brown and Studio Egret West, the scheme was shortlisted for the Stirling Prize.
