HB Reavis, which focuses on office and retail developments, completed and sold its first London scheme, 33 Central, EC4, to Wells Fargo in July.

Pawar, who will start his new role in January 2017, will be responsible for overseeing the expansion of the London development portfolio.

He leaves LandSec after more than nine years at the company, during which he has been involved with some of the group’s most high-profile projects including 20 Fenchurch Street, EC3, and has forged partnerships with Canary Wharf Group and Nova. His experience previous to that includes roles at Westfield and Chapman Taylor.

Pawar is the fifth person to leave the LandSec London team this year. Head of development management Oliver Gardiner has also left, while head of investment Tom Elliott is joining McKay Securities as head of property. LandSec’s West End portfolio director Ben Ridgwell is to become head of asset management and property management at Derwent and retail leasing director John Grimes will become head of development leasing at Hammerson.
