Chinese investment manager COS Capital has launched a European office with plans to invest up to €1bn (£900m) in European property in the next three years.
It will target value-add properties across a range of commercial and residential sectors.
The company said it will focus on London and the UK before broadening out into other countries on the Continent.
Roberto Varandas, managing director of COS Capital Europe, said: “In the near term, Brexit uncertainty presents a challenge, but also an opportunity. We believe in the long-term potential for the region as a whole, and the attractive, risk-adjusted opportunities it presents.”
COS Capital has $4.6bn (£3.8bn) in assets under management with offices in China, the US and London.
