Savills expands Northern Irish office team

Savills-Offices-Team-BelfastSavills has appointed Simon McEvoy as divisional director in its expanding Northern Irish office agency team.

McEvoy joins from JLL in Dublin where he worked for 10 years. He will focus on all aspects of the office market, including leasing, sales, lease regears, surrenders and rent reviews, as well as providing development advice and advising on acquisitions and disposals.

He has been involved in some of Dublin’s major office developments, including Burlington Plaza, South County Business Park, Grand Canal Plaza and East Point Business Park.

McEvoy holds a degree in Estate Management from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland.

Ben Turtle, head of Savills’ Belfast office, said: “With office construction in Belfast undergoing a resurgence, now is the opportune time to expand our office agency division. The experience Simon brings to Savills – from 10 years working in the busy Dublin office market – will undoubtedly help us grow our business.”
