Bluewater has instructed Colliers International to seek tenants for its 30,000 sq ft scheme on Springkerse Industrial Estate in Stirling, the market’s first speculative development in more than five years.
Eight units are available, to complete in 2018, ranging from 1,800 to 7,210 sq ft, where all can be combined to offer larger space.
Bryce Stewart, director of industrial and logistics at Colliers International in Scotland, said: “This is the only speculative scheme in Stirling at the moment and there has not been anything like this come to the market in over five years, so naturally there is a high level of interest.
“Given the recovery in industry in recent years, many expanding firms are seeking new premises and they tend to favour premium quality space, so there is a pressing demand for developments such as this one at Springkerse Industrial Estate. With its excellent road links to Edinburgh, Glasgow and beyond, it would not be surprising to find firms moving to the Stirling area in order to benefit from these premises.”
Stirling-based Bluewater also has other holdings in Dunfermline, Glenrothes, Grangemouth and the west of Scotland.
