Global logistics and trading company Trailstone has taken 10,895 sq ft on the 35th floor of Heron International’s 125,000 sq ft Salesforce Tower, paying £90 per sq ft. Trailstone formerly occupied part of a lower floor in the building at 110 Bishopsgate, EC2. CBRE and Savills are leasing agents on Salesforce Tower; Hall Kemp acted for Trailstone.

CF Commercial hires Primrose

CF Commercial, the London-based leisure, retail and office agency specialising in independent operators, has appointed a new head of leasing. Will Primrose, previously of Mann Smith & Partners, has been hired to find space for creative and technology companies.

CapCo buys Tower House

Capital & Counties has bought a Covent Garden freehold from Derwent London for £67.5m. The 53,700 sq ft Tower House, 10 Southampton Street, WC2, occupies a corner block and produces income of £3.1m pa. CBRE and JLL acted for Derwent; CapCo was unrepresented.

C&W promotes 46

Cushman & Wakefield has promoted 46 staff to associate and associate director in its EMEA business. The move follows the promotion of 62 staff earlier this year. In C&W’s new corporate structure, associate and associate director are the same level, with the former used for fee-earners and the latter for infrastructure staff.

Sainsbury’s in Northants prelet

Sainsbury’s is to prelet a 325,000 sq ft distribution centre at Prologis Park Pineham in Northampton, paying around £6 per sq ft. The new unit will be Sainsbury’s national frozen food distribution facility and will be located next to the firm’s 625,000 sq ft base on the site. Burbage Realty and Cushman & Wakefield acted for Prologis.
