Five more Cornish parishes are likely to follow St Ives in adopting a ban on second homes.
The five parishes of Rame have submitted plans to Cornwall Council. Two of the five have the highest proportion of second homes in the county.
The high court last week ruled that the vote in St Ives – more than 80% of locals voted in favour of a ban on new-builds being sold as second homes – was lawful, after a challenge by architectural firm RLT Built Environment.
