Deliveroo has signed at Blackstone’s River Building, EC4, part of the Cannon Bridge House Development, for its new UK headquarters.
The company will relocate from its current Fitzrovia base and has taken 50,000 sq ft at the 94,000 sq ft office.
Nick Pearce, leasing manager at Blackstone Property Management, said: “Attracting such a rapidly growing company from the West End to the City represents a real coup, and is testimony to the quality of the River Building.
“The interior has undergone a complete transformation, while remaining true to its heritage.
“We are seeing strong occupier interest in the second floor of the building, and are confident of securing a tenant to join Deliveroo ahead of the refurbishment work completing in the spring of next year.”
Earlier this year Blackstone secured the leasing of 21,000 sq ft at Cannon Bridge House to Historic England which joins tenants including Natixis, IG Group Holdings and Winterflood at the 285,000 sq ft prime office building at 25 Dowgate Hill, EC4.
Savills and GM Real Estate are the appointed joint letting agents. BDG Sparkes Porter acted for Deliveroo.
