Capital & Counties has appointed Situl Jobanputra as chief financial officer.
Jobanputra was previously investment and finance director for the company’s Earls Court project.
He joined the company in 2014 as head of corporate development having previously worked for Deutsche Bank’s UK real estate investment banking team.
Jobanputra replaces Soumen Das, who is joining SEGRO to take up the CFO role from 15 January.
Responsibility for the oversight of Covent Garden will revert to chief executive Ian Hawksworth, following the resignation of director of Sarah-Jane Curtis in August to join take a senior role overseeing Bicester Village at Value Retail.
Hawksworth said: “Situl is well respected within the company and the wider markets and has significant investment banking and finance experience. CapCo is committed to developing talent and Situl has consistently delivered since joining CapCo. This appointment will also allow the existing successful finance structure to continue to operate efficiently.”
