John Burnside has joined Hartnell Taylor Cook as a director in the investment team based in London. He was previously head of retail investment at Capita Real Estate.
M&G Real Estate has appointed Kevin Vickers as director of investment management in its long-income real estate business. He joins from Deloitte.
Knight Frank has recruited Michael Brownsdon as a partner to lead its new capital allowances service. The new offering will support occupiers on fit-out and refurbishment expenditure and investors on acquisitions and disposals.
Barings Real Estate Advisers has appointed Göran Bengtsson as head of the Nordics, based in Stockholm.

Matthew Tilt has been promoted to industrial director at Lambert Smith Hampton in Birmingham. He joined the firm two years ago as an associate director in the industrial and logistics team.
