Barratt Developments has announced that chief financial officer Neil Cooper has left the company by mutual agreement.
Barratt said in a stock exchange announcement that his departure will take place with immediate effect and it is launching the search for a new CFO.
Chief executive officer David Thomas, who held the CFO role for six years until July 2015, will take temporary responsibility for the role.
Cooper said: “I wish David and the team all the best for the future and would like to thank the board for the opportunity to work with Barratt over the past year.”
He joined Barratt in late 2015 from William Hill and was group finance director of Bovis Homes Group from 2007 until 2010. Before that he spent eight years with Whitbread.
