The top 10 buildings at risk include a 1930s police station and 1950s synagogue, both added as a result of plans backed by former footballers Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville to build flats, a hotel, offices and shops in the centre of Manchester.
The list has been compiled by the C20 Society, a campaigner for the preservation of 20TH century architecture.
Other buildings on the list include student accommodation at Trinity college, Oxford; Dunelm House, a student union building in Durham; and the Central Hill housing estate in south London.
